Gargantuan, Chaotic Evil
In the deep sands of the Bara Kusini, the captain of a nomadic sand skiff sails through the desert with his crew, their eyes on the horizon, searching for a rumored oasis. As they navigate the dunes, a wisp of sand raises into the air, born on a vortex, a lonely dust devil. If the the captain notices it he pays it little mind, for twisters like this are common.
But this rising storm is different.
As the sand skiff makes its way through the dunes, the storm suddenly grows, and shifts direction, rushing towards them, faster than any natural wind, the sand below it growing into a wave. The captain and his crew try desperately to steer the skiff away, but it is too late. The storm is upon them, and they realize too late that it is no natural storm at all, but a dreaded Eada' Ul'Rimal - a Sandrunner.
The entity moves like a river of sand, surging towards the sand skiff, rising up above the desert floor in a towering wall. The captain and his crew fight desperately against the Eada' Ul'Rimal, but their swords and arrows have no effect on the creature. The Sandrunner shreds the vessels rigging as it tears at the crews clothes and blinds them, and in a great wave of wind and sand consume the sand skiff and crew, swallowing them whole before disappearing back into the desert, leaving only a desolate wasteland behind.
The Eada' Ul'Rimal is resistant to many to physical attacks, but it is vulnerable to water-based attacks. It is resistant to lightning and fire attacks, but they can still cause it harm. Wind attacks also have an effect on the Sandrunner, though it can withstand them to a certain extent.
Those lost to the Eada' Ul'Rimal are quickly desiccated, and changed by the entity and discarded. Left behind in the desert a week later they rise from the sands at dusk, these desiccated beings are known as Il'Utha - Sand Corpses, a form of mummy that wander the scortched-sands of the Eada' Ul'Rimal's territory in insatiable thirst and will attack living beings mindlessly in that thirst. Over time these desert wraiths disintegrate, and fall apart, losing limbs, dragging their remains through the sand at night, finally helpless they are torn apart by scavenging animals.
The Eada' Ul'Rimal is a demon of the desert, feared by all who sail or travel through the sands. It is a massive entity that moves effortlessly through the sand, often taking the form of a storm or tornado. Its true nature is unknown, and it is said to be a djinn or dragon by some who encounter it and live through the experience.
The Eada' Ul'Rimal is a truly terrifying entity, one that is said to swallow entire armies and leave nothing but desolation and death in its wake.
