Welcome to the Sayarii Project. I've been working on Sayarii in the background now for over a year. Designing maps, places, creatures, and as I've been building I've been weaving the first story into the fabric of my new world. It's still deep in development, as is the whole of this project, and while I am not at all ready to publish the first campaign live - I am beginning to prepare for it.
So a little background on how I have dreamed of this project working. My goal here has been to make Sayarii open access - a living document providing a framework for those looking to explore Sayarii and its wonders within their own roleplaying games, Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or any other system. Visitors are free to use the lore and all of it's assets, maps, descriptions, monsters, classes, and public figures; provided here to create their own adventures in this ever-evolving realm.
The campaigns that Sayarii are being built around will be made available via Patreon membership. The First Campaign: The Feather Magic Chronicles is a mystery, and is built as a transition - bringing player characters, and importantly their magical abilities, into Sayarii, to help solve a mystery, and avoid a catastrophe that looms over their world. Patreon Membership will allow access to all campaign materials, additional maps, NPCs, additional location details, and lore. Members will also have access to print resolution image files for maps and other Sayarii art that I am also going to be selling on the Sayarii store (which I will announce when I have it set up).
Currently I am working on both Sayarii worldbuilding, and campaign development, as well as terrain and models for running The Feather Magic Chronicles at my own table. (I will post updates on this soon)
So currently the worldbuilding I am doing is mostly directly related the the Story arc for this first introductory campaign. I am focusing on developing the Magic System, working in a broad strokes on the Bara Kusini, with a lot of focus on Il-Wāāt ul'Ihāt Kathira and Kuogopa - the Petrified City and the Kuogopa Archeological Project.
I'll post updates on new material and artwork as it is created and will of course, announce when the Store and Patreon Memberships are available.
Thanks for coming by.
